Columbia | Huila Pitalito El Tiple Excelso

This washed Excelso-grade coffee comes from smallholder farms around Pitalito in Colombia’s Huila department. Grown at elevation on volcanic soils, the washed process produces a clean, balanced cup with medium body and medium acidity.

Expect notes of milk or dark chocolate, brown sugar or caramel, soft nuts, and a touch of citrus or stone fruit. It is smooth and approachable with enough sweetness and structure to work well as a medium or medium-dark roast for both drip and espresso.

Costa Rica | Tarrazu

This honey-processed Tarrazú is grown at high elevation in one of Costa Rica’s most respected coffee regions. The honey process (leaving a portion of the sticky fruit mucilage on the bean during drying) adds natural sweetness while keeping the cup clean and structured.

Expect notes of honey, caramel, milk chocolate, and soft stone fruit or citrus, with a medium, silky body and bright but balanced acidity. It finishes sweet and lingering without heaviness—ideal as a light-to-medium roast for pour-over or drip when you want both clarity and a touch of richness.

This washed single-origin from the Sierra Azul cooperative in Chiapas, Mexico is grown by smallholder farmers inside the buffer zone of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. The cup is clean and balanced with a medium body, mild acidity, and a smooth finish.
